My freedom is 1 week away!

So in one week, the UFE will be officially over!! I can't even explain how good I am going to feel at 1:00pm on Thursday, September 20th! I've been waiting for this day for a very long time.

The UFE explained:
Well it stands for "Uniform Final Exam" and is the final exam to achieving your CA (Chartered Accountant) designation. It's been a long year of courses and lots of studying - and they finish it off with a wonderful 3 day exam. It's a total of 13 hours of mind numbing consisting of a total 7 questions. The first day is a 5 hour question - oh yes, fun:)
So I start Tuesday morning at 9:00am and will officially be finished Thursday afternoon at 1:00pm.

After that - assuming all goes well - which believe me, I have no intention of writing this beast again - No more studying! Although it also means I'm heading back to work and I was kind of getting used to the whole not working thing. Studying really isn't that bad when you don't have to work at the same time.

So now I'm trying to plan what I'm going to do next week in the afternoon/evenings to keep myself sane. I was contemplating booking massages for the late afternoons - but the more I think about it - the more I don't want to - not sure why. I figure, depending how each day goes I'll either come home and spend some time crying or dancing around my house. Even if the day went okay - it's likely tears will surface - what can I say - I'm an emotional person.

So these next 7 days are going to be likely the most stressful 7 days I've had yet. It's crazy how something seems so far away and suddenly it's staring you directly in the face.

I'll keep you updated on my stress levels throughout the week.

My First Blog

So blogging seems to be the thing to do these days...so I thought I should join in...and I'm so tired of studying right now that I thought this would be a good way to take a break:) Okay, it's only 9:30 in the morning but I think that's a perfect break time!:)

So I'm not sure how much I'll use this - but I'm going to give it a try!

Wish me luck!
