Beautiful Alaska

So Paul and I just returned home from a fantastic Alaskan cruise with my parents.  It was 7 nights, 8 days of beautiful scenery and lots of relaxation.

One of my main reasons for being suc
h a horrible blogger is I'm not very good at remembering to take pictures.  However, we brought 2 cameras on our cruise to ensure we got lots of high quality pictures!  I'm sad to report that on the last day of the cruise, we misplaced the camera and it never turned up again...likely swiped by some not so kind person...either way it was the camera we used the most on the cruise and so we lost a lot of our pictures...at least now I have a valid excuse for my blog:)

Here are a few highlights from the pictures we do have.  My parents took a bunch so when I get those from them I'll add some more!

THE BEAR
Paul and I went to Alaska for our honeymoon and I was so disappointed that I didn't get to see a bear!  I was determined to find one on this time around and I did!!  I saw her in Juneau when we went to a park to see one of the glaciers.  They had told us when we arrived that parts of the trails were closed due to bear activity - so I was excited!!  It was the end of salmon spawning season so the bears were out catching some of their own fish!  My dad calls me the bear paparazzi - as soon as I overheard on one of the park rangers radio that there was a bear sighting - I was off to find her!  10 feet away from the bear at one point!

I have a video but it wont load...I'll put it up when I get it to work.

More pics to come tomorrow!
